What gets you jazzed up these days?

Charlie Chaplin’s first movies, my evening walks without which I wouldn’t be able to fall asleep, Albrecht Dürer’s house – which I have recently visited once again – a series of collages I’m currently working on for a very small collection in progress, the phases of the Moon, Oliver Sacks’ book – The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat – and also cakes, as well as the thought that modern people do what they want – unfortunately, not out of love, but out of their thirst for knowledge. Consequently, they no longer “make love”, but nuclear arms instead.

If you were a piece of clothing, what would you be and why?

I would most likely be a voluminous white shirt. It represents the starting point for every single collection I have created. I perceive it as a piece of clothing that takes care of you and soothes you, whether it stands as a symbol for Christ’s robe or a straitjacket.
